∆ after november

So here it is. I finally decided to set a space to share my work. For the past two years ive been creating my lemon paintings…keeping them close and cared for. They’ve been my piece of mind and remedy for everything that has happened but now im ready to let you meet them properly, maybe even take one home ;)

The phrase “When life gives you lemons” is the basis for this series and in November of 2008 my brand new husband was handed a rather large lemon in the form of a cancer diagnosis. These paintings are just my way of putting down all my fears and faiths that have since followed me around. These paintings are my map of everything we went through and everything we’ve felt… after November.
